Pause for thought

Some people are able to cope alone.

Adversity tests us from time to time and it is inevitable that this testing continues during life.
Walter Annenberg

The recent bad weather has been a trial to many, and a challenge to more. How to stay cheerful in the face of such a miserable summer may be one of the more insignificant trials brought by continuous heavy rain, but it caused me to think about the more difficult tests  that life throws at us.

Whether it's ill-health or injury, financial worries or conflicts with others, there are times when we must dig deep into our reserves to find a way through the storm. Some people are able to cope alone, others, not so resiliant, need help and support.
