Two items arrived today. They both fit ok and are well-made (pockets aside) from good quality material.
I tried them both with my favourite top - a grey, long-sleeved, cotton t-shirt that is well over ten years old. The denim pinafore is perfect in length, but a bit snug on the hips.
Denim is very unforgiving and doesn't stretch at all. Still, I'm satisfied with this as an every day garment. The Sketchers are a great match.
The pinafore has two side pockets, both of which are set a little too far back. They don't do anything at all for the lines and are a bit useless for valuables.
Next up was the needlecord pinafore with a touch of elastane. Compared to the denim, it is very soft and stretches nicely. Very comfortable, and, again goes very well with the top and the Sketchers.
Although it's difficult to tell from these pictures, there is a pattern on the blue background. It's listed as an animal print - think big cats.
Like the denim version, the side pockets are sited too far back. Nevertheless, this fits nicely and is comfortable.
Some trousers and jeans are destined for the charity shops, including the ones I bought last year that will never, ever, fit me. The rest are too old and worn and will go into the rag bag.
